Wide-format everyday pavé tray. The 1.3–1.6 mm workhorse band on a 30 × 85 grid holding 2,550 stones, pitched for 503 and 503B nozzle pickup. This is the size most floors run most days, in the long tray footprint. Order it if your machine takes the wide-format holder — send your model and we will confirm. The 1.3–1.6 mm band does the heavy lifting in commercial pavé — the bangles, pendants and daily-wear rings that move in volume — and the SSMWT-02 is the wide-format tray that feeds it. 2,550 machined pockets on a 30 × 85 layout, pitched so the 503 and 503B nozzles seat squarely on every pickup at full production speed.
This tray will log more hours than any other you own, and hours are what wear pocket rims round. A rounded rim lets a stone sit proud; a stone sitting proud gets clipped instead of lifted; and a clipped stone is a gap in the wax you find out about after casting. Rotating a fresh tray into your highest-volume band is the cheapest yield insurance on the floor — cheaper than the rework it prevents.

Wide-format and compact trays cover the same stone bands; what differs is the footprint of the tray itself. Which one you need is decided by the tray holder on your machine, not by preference. If you are ordering a wide-format tray for the first time, send us your machine model and we will confirm the fit before dispatch. The compact equivalent of this tray is DSSMT-02 (40 × 80 grid, 3,200 stones).
Carry the tray supported rather than by one end — long trays flex, and a flexed tray has inconsistent pocket depth. Empty by inversion, blow out with clean dry air between fills, store flat and unstacked, and keep solvents off the pocket faces. On your highest-volume band, two trays in rotation will outlast one tray run into the ground.
Match three things and you cannot go wrong: the stone size band (1.3 – 1.6 mm for this tray), the nozzle already fitted to your machine (503 or 503B), and your machine model. If any of the three does not match, order the tray next to it on the ladder above instead — or send us your machine model and stone size and we will confirm it for you before dispatch.
Yes — this tray is dimensioned for Semsons Tech Mini Pro, Pro Series, Pro Plus and Double Head 8 Nozzle wax setting machines. It is not a generic import tray cut to a nominal size; the pocket pitch is machined to the coordinate map our setters actually use, which is what keeps pickup accurate from the first stone to the last.
Stay inside the published band. Stones under the band sit too deep for the nozzle to seat against, and oversized stones bridge across the pocket mouth and get knocked aside on the next pass. Both show up as skipped positions in the wax, which you only discover after casting.
Most production floors keep one tray per size band they actually run, plus a spare of their highest-volume band. On double-station and double-head machines a second tray removes the reload pause entirely — you pre-fill one while the other is on the bed.
Empty it by inversion over a sorting pad rather than brushing stones across the pockets, blow out dust with clean dry air, and store it flat. Never stack loaded trays, and keep solvents off the pocket faces — anything that etches or scores a pocket changes its depth, and depth is what the nozzle is calibrated against.
If this is your highest-volume band, yes. On double-station and double-head machines a second tray also removes the reload pause from your cycle — you pre-fill one while the other is on the bed.
The SSMWT-02 ships same-day from our Mumbai and Rajkot warehouses, across India and to the 34+ countries we export to. Buying a full set of wide-format SSMWT trays to cover your whole size range, or restocking several of one band for a multi-machine floor? Ask for set pricing rather than ordering them one at a time.
