The Semsons Tech Base with Stud SSMBS-01 is a 76mm (3 inch) diameter precision-machined wax model mounting base supplied for the wax-model fixing station on Semsons Tech automatic stone setting machines. The disc platform provides a flat, stable surface for the wax model — with SSMAB-01 wax setting silicon, SSMG-01 fixing glue, or SSMP-01 thermoplastic beads applied on top — through the full duration of a high-speed setting run at 12,000+ stones per hour. The locating stud protruding from the disc is the coordinate reference the machine uses to find the wax in a repeatable position every batch. Without a correctly-positioned locating stud, the machine's coordinate map drifts from run to run and every wax model requires re-alignment; with it, batch-to-batch setup time drops to seconds and the machine can be programmed once for a production run of hundreds of identical models.
