The accent and halo tray. Covers 1.7–1.9 mm rounds on a 40×80 machined grid holding 3,200 stones, and takes 1.5–1.6 mm as well — so one tray spans the whole 503B nozzle range. Useful when a design mixes halo accents with pavé fill and you would rather not stop to change trays. Fits every Semsons setter. Same-day dispatch from Mumbai and Rajkot.

The DSSMT-03 is the most flexible tray in the compact ladder. Its pockets are cut for 1.7–1.9 mm rounds — the accent and halo sizes that frame a centre stone — but they also seat 1.5–1.6 mm cleanly, which means one tray covers the entire range of the 503B nozzle. On a floor where designs mix a halo band with pavé fill, that is one tray change you no longer have to make.
At this size the stone is large enough to be visibly wrong. A 1.8 mm accent that sits a hair proud or drops a fraction low reads immediately in the finished halo, and unlike micro-pavé you cannot hide it in the crowd. The pocket depth on this tray is machined to put the girdle exactly where the 503B expects it, so placement height stays constant across all 3,200 positions and across repeat runs of the same design.

Trays are sized by stone band, and each band pairs with a specific nozzle. Find your stone size below and you have your tray — and your nozzle with it. This tray is highlighted.
| Tray Code | Stone Size Band | Grid | Capacity | Nozzle |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DSSMT-01 | 0.8 – 1.2 mm | 40 × 80 | 3,200 | 502 / 502B |
| DSSMT-02 | 1.3 – 1.6 mm | 40 × 80 | 3,200 | 503 / 503B |
| DSSMT-03 | 1.7 – 1.9 mm | 40 × 80 | 3,200 | 503B ◀ this product |
| DSSMT-04 | 2.0 – 2.5 mm | 20 × 40 | 800 | 504 |
| DSSMT-05 | 2.5 – 3.0 mm | 20 × 40 | 800 | 504 |
Because this tray also takes 1.5–1.6 mm, it overlaps the top of DSSMT-02. If most of your work sits at 1.3–1.4 mm, buy the DSSMT-02; if it sits at 1.7 mm and above, buy this one and let it cover the overlap. A wide-format equivalent, SSMWT-03, is available for longer beds.
Larger stones mean heavier stones, and heavier stones are less forgiving of a pocket that has been knocked out of shape. Invert to empty, never brush across the grid, blow out with clean dry air, and store flat. Check the pocket edges under a loupe every few hundred hours — a bright, sharp pocket rim is what keeps a 1.9 mm round sitting square instead of tilted.
Match three things and you cannot go wrong: the stone size band (1.7 – 1.9 mm (also takes 1.5 – 1.6 mm) for this tray), the nozzle already fitted to your machine (503B), and your machine model. If any of the three does not match, order the tray next to it on the ladder above instead — or send us your machine model and stone size and we will confirm it for you before dispatch.
Yes — this tray is dimensioned for Semsons Tech Mini Pro, Pro Series, Pro Plus and Double Head 8 Nozzle wax setting machines. It is not a generic import tray cut to a nominal size; the pocket pitch is machined to the coordinate map our setters actually use, which is what keeps pickup accurate from the first stone to the last.
Stay inside the published band. Stones under the band sit too deep for the nozzle to seat against, and oversized stones bridge across the pocket mouth and get knocked aside on the next pass. Both show up as skipped positions in the wax, which you only discover after casting.
Most production floors keep one tray per size band they actually run, plus a spare of their highest-volume band. On double-station and double-head machines a second tray removes the reload pause entirely — you pre-fill one while the other is on the bed.
Empty it by inversion over a sorting pad rather than brushing stones across the pockets, blow out dust with clean dry air, and store it flat. Never stack loaded trays, and keep solvents off the pocket faces — anything that etches or scores a pocket changes its depth, and depth is what the nozzle is calibrated against.
No. The pockets are cut for the larger band and the smaller stones seat lower within the same geometry, which the 503B is calibrated to handle. What it buys you is one tray instead of two across a common design range.
The DSSMT-03 ships same-day from our Mumbai and Rajkot warehouses, across India and to the 34+ countries we export to. Buying a full set of compact DSSMT trays to cover your whole size range, or restocking several of one band for a multi-machine floor? Ask for set pricing rather than ordering them one at a time.
