Semsons Tech SSMAB-01A Wax Setting Silicon - Part A, White

The white half of a two-part putty that holds jewellery wax models in place while stones are set.

SSMAB-01A is Part A of a two-part wax setting silicone, also called wax model fixing putty. Knead it together with Part B, SSMAB-01B, which is purple, and the mixed putty sets. Shape it on the mounting base around the wax model while it is still soft, and it keeps the model steady while stones are set into the wax, including on an automatic wax stone setting machine such as the X4 Pro Plus.

Use It Only With the Purple Part B

SSMAB-01A is made to be mixed with one product: SSMAB-01B, the purple Part B. Do not mix it or use it with any other putty, silicone or material. Part B is sold separately, so order both before you start.

How to Use It

1. Take Part A and Part B from their tubs: SSMAB-01A is white, SSMAB-01B is purple.
2. Knead them together until the putty is one even colour, with no white or purple streaks.
3. Shape it straight away. Mixed putty sets, so form it on the mounting base around the wax model while it is still soft.
4. Keep the stone positions clear so the setting head can reach every stone.
5. Check the model sits firm and does not rock before you start setting.
6. Close both tubs after use, and keep Part A and Part B apart until you mix them.

What is SSMAB-01A?

SSMAB-01A is Part A of a two-part wax setting silicone: a white putty in a tub. Kneaded with Part B, SSMAB-01B, it is used to hold jewellery wax models in place while stones are set.

What does Tub A mean?

Tub A holds Part A of the putty. Part B comes in its own tub, SSMAB-01B, and is purple.

What should SSMAB-01A be used with?

Only SSMAB-01B, the purple Part B. Do not mix it or use it with any other putty, silicone or material.

Can I use Part A on its own?

No. Part A is used kneaded together with Part B. If you do not have Part B yet, order SSMAB-01B with it.

How do I know Part A and Part B are fully mixed?

The putty is one even colour, with no white or purple streaks left in it.

Is this a mould-making silicone?

No. SSMAB-01A is sold for holding wax models during jewellery stone setting, not for making moulds.

How many tubs can I order?

Is GST included in the price?

Yes. The price shown includes 18% GST, and the GST amount is listed separately on your tax invoice.

Is delivery free?

Yes, anywhere in India. If the same order also holds an item that is not delivered free, the normal courier charge applies to that order.

How long does dispatch take?

Your order is dispatched 3 to 4 days after you place it. Courier transit comes after that.

Can I return it or get a replacement?

You cannot return it, but a manufacturing defect is replaced. Tell us with the order number and a photo of the fault, and once we have verified the defect we replace the putty. If it arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with the order number and a photograph.

Is it a genuine product?
