The Semsons X4 Pro Plus is an automatic wax stone setting machine for jewellery manufacturers. It sets diamonds and CZ into wax models before casting, so the stones are already in place when the metal is cast. One station keeps setting while the other is being loaded and unloaded, so there is no waiting between batches. This is what gives you 20% more production capacity than a conventional setting machine.
The wax model is fixed to a base on the worktable. For every stone in the design, the machine drills the seat, picks the stone from the tray with a suction nozzle and presses it into the wax, placing it within ±0.02 mm. Four nozzles and five axes of motion with 540° rotation let it reach flat, curved and 3D pieces. The set wax models then go to casting as usual, and the metal forms around the stones and holds them.

Stones set by the X4 Pro Plus have better gloss and fire than stones set by hand. The machine places every stone at exactly the same depth and the same angle, so light enters and reflects the same way across the whole piece. In hand setting, small differences creep in from piece to piece, especially over a long run when the setter gets tired.
You are not limited to one stone type per job. The X4 Pro Plus can set up to 8 different colours, 8 different sizes, or a combination of both in the same run. Multicolour and mixed-size designs go through in a single setup instead of multiple passes.

For finish, yes. Machine-set stones show better gloss and fire because every stone sits at exactly the same depth and angle. Hand setting varies from piece to piece, especially on long runs when the setter gets tired.
The double station X4 Pro Plus keeps setting while the other station is loaded, for workshops that need the highest daily output. For lower volumes, the single station Semsons Pro Mini sets up to 10,000 stones per hour.
A normal single-phase 220V supply with 3 kVA peak power; no three-phase connection is needed. The machine is 950 × 750 mm and 1400 mm tall. Leave walking space on both sides so operators can reach both stations.
